There are a couple of items to consider, and I’ve put this helpful checklist together for you!
Showit hosting - there are a variety of plans based on your needs. View Showit's pricing options here.
Domain - a domain typically costs $20/year. Common domain registrars are Bluehost, Godaddy, and Google Domains.
Gsuite - once you purchase your domain, you can then purchase a branded email address and set up a Google Workspace for your business. For example, you can purchase name@yourwebsite.com instead of using yourname@gmail.com for enhanced professionalism. This is $6/month (or $72) annually. Details can be found here.
Email marketing software - if you want to grow your email list (which is very recommended), it’s also recommended you sign up for an email marketing software so you can begin to collect emails on your website! Common options are Mailchimp, Convertkit, and Kartra.

02. How do I edit the template graphics?
You will receive a PDF download with links to all the graphics from the template. These will be editable inside Canva, a free and user friendly graphic design software. You’ll need to upgrade to the free 30 day trial of the Canva Pro plan to make edits to the graphics, but you can cancel before you are billed.

03. Uh oh… I don’t know anything about code! What will I do about customizing the website?!
With Showit's drag and drop capabilities, you don't need to worry about code! The possibilities are endless on this platform.

04. How long will it take me to launch my website?
You can launch in a matter of days! The key pieces that need to be completed to launch are updating your brand colors and fonts, changing out the photos, and adding your copy. If you already have those elements ready, then the process will be fairly quick. Otherwise, it may take a couple of weeks to gather everything together and implement the changes.

05. What elements can I customize on the template?
How does "everything" sound?! The main pieces you will change are the fonts, colors, images, and copy. But beyond that, you can easily change page layouts.

07. How do I move my website to Showit if I’m currently using a different website builder.

08. What happens if I already have a website built on Showit?
You can choose to start fresh with the new template and simply connect your domain to the new website when it's ready to be launched. Or you can simply add the template into your current website canvas by canvas. There is a video walkthrough of how to complete the second option inside the video training library.
